春晚一般指的是“央视春晚”，英文可以说CCTV's Spring Festival Gala / CCTV New Year's Gala，gala意指“庆祝，祝贺”。单纯说春晚可以用Spring Festival Gala或者Chinese New Year Gala表达。

但随着春晚影响力的增大，许多国内外的英文媒体开始直接使用春晚的拼音“Chunwan”。
